St Audries at Ouse School Rules

These rules are based around common sense to ensure a safe environment for all.

Would ALL teachers (both day and night school) please be so kind as to prepare a lesson, as any teacher may be called upon to teach, at any time. Lessons should be planned to last thirty minutes. Lessons can be ANY topic, but the more fun and interactive involvement, the better.

  MANDATORY and REAL - NOT breakable  
     
  The Universal safe words RED and AMBER are in force at ALL times. When issued they MUST be adhered to and obeyed. People ignoring this rule will be asked to leave.  
  Prejudice, intolerance or disrespect (real) against anyone attending will NOT be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave  
  Photographs MAY be taken by prior agreement. An official school photographer may be available. A School photograph will be taken at the beginning of the day, and people not wishing to take part in this must inform a member of staff. The taking of photographs will result in confiscation and the offender asked to leave.  
  There is to be NO nudity or displaying of genitalia. The only part of the anatomy that will be bared is a bottom.  
  There is to be NO sexual activity at all during events.  
  There are to be NO illegal substances at ALL.  
  If an item etc. is 'hidden' by anyone and goes undiscovered, its location is to be revealed at the end of the day.

  Equipment is expensive, so it must be respected at all times.  

The Alternative school rules. Disobey them at your Peril

1 Pupils must obey the instructions given to them immediately by any teacher. In the result of a conflict, then the pupil obeys the more senior teacher.
2 Pupils will accept all punishments from any teacher in the manner in which they are delivered.
3 School uniform will be worn smartly and with pride at all times.
4 Pupils will carry out all lessons and activities to the best of their ability.
5 Pupils will not blurt out answers to questions, but will raise their hand and wait until directed to answer
6 Other than at designated break times, sweets and drinks are strictly forbidden, and will be confiscated.
7 Games, tricks, weapons and other 'contraband' of any kind are not permitted and will be confiscated.
8 Profane or foul language is not allowed at any time.
9 Smoking by pupils is not permitted (there is a secret place for this, but you gotta find it)
10 All pupils must complete any homework set.
11 All Pupils must know the school song off by heart, and will be asked to recite it at any time.
12 Pupils will stand whenever a teacher enters a room.
13 Pupils are not permitted to leave the school grounds, other than on official school trips and when accompanied by at least one teacher.
