How and Why

Following a meeting of several disgruntled Parents/Guardians, in the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire area, with regard to the spiralling effect of unruly, disrespectful and disobedient school children, a need was identified for a local, inexpensive, very strict educational facility to try to control such children. Consequently,S t Audries at Ouse was formed.

A no nonsense Mistresses, Ms C.Payne was sourced and recruited to help with the launch of the school. Ms Payne,  as the Head Mistress, and Ms Eternal Patience as Deputy Head,  gathered about them a team of extremely talented personnel to bring the school into fruition. The aim of the school is to teach all academic subjects, arts and crafts, drama and dance, history etc, to  very high standards, without compromising a strong sense of discipline, within the financial constraints of its catchment area.

The Guardians/Parents of two extremely uncontrollable girls applied for their children to be enrolled in an attempt to teach them corrective behaviour, by whatever means necessary. One of the girls refuses to attend school, and the other was expelled.

St Audries at Ouse is a low cost school and so will attract the most needy of the children. If any parent/guardian wish to send their children to the school, by all means apply here.

Opening Day 18/10/2008

The opening day was a huge success, with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves. One or two teething problems, but nothing that cannot be sorted. All pupils were very smartly dressed, and the teachers were brilliant with excellently thought out, interesting lessons. The dinner was scrumptious.

School Day 22/11/2008

All teething problems were sorted and a thoroughly good day was had by all. The dinner was exceptional. Every left most satisfied. Homework was completed to a high standard and housepoints were earned. Pupils improved their singing of the school song, ably assisted by the very talented Mr Padmore. Unfortunately, the Gym Mistress was ill so there was no music and movement this time, however this slot was filled appropriately.
